Walks
The village has a number of short walks that originate from the green. The car park opposite the White Hart is an ideal place to start, and there is the benefit of a few good pubs at the end to fall into. Go off in all directions and find green space and countryside.
West takes you towards Bletchingly via Brewer Street Farm, via the golf course to the lovely old rotten borough. East past Walkingstead goes towards Tandridge - the ponds and gunpowder and the Greensand Way (stop at the Barley Mow), South towards the Enterdent with the history of witches, Godstone Farm and views of the South Downs, or go North and pass over the six lane avalanche and go up, and up, into the North Downs Hills and the Way of Pilgrims.
